The intimate setting overlooking Johnson Bay provides an unforgettable sunset, and makes it apparent why The Blue Heron is frequently voted the “Most Romantic” restaurant in Naples.

The Blue Heron serves a wide variety of individually prepared dishes, including fresh seafood, rack of lamb, duck, veal and more. The Lobster Thermador reigns as our signature dish.

About The Blue Heron

Discover the fine dining experience everyone is talking about, just minutes from Marco Island and Naples. Located at the water’s edge on the Isles of Capri, this culinary jewel is known for its sunsets, excellent food, comfortable atmosphere and superb service. The Blue Heron creates a standard of excellence that has been maintained for over 43 years.

Alex Alexander, owner of the restaurant for the past 16 years, adds her individual flair derived from years of 5-star restaurant management in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Alex has added a beautiful new deck, landscaping and four boat slips. The new slips can accommodate boats up to 70 feet, complete with electric service for an overnight stay.

Alex is proud that the same chef and staff continue to serve The Blue Heron patrons. Every menu selection is prepared to order. The skilled staff gladly acknowledges guests with allergies, special food needs (such as vegetarian or gluten-free).

The Blue Heron is open Monday through Saturday with the traditional 5-course inclusive dinner menu served from 5pm nightly. We close for summer, and reopen the third week in September.

The staff is excellent, food is great. First time, chance find, riding around Isle of Capri and saw this place! Reviews on Trip Advisor were good so decided to give it a try. Luckily it is the off-season so early dining without a reservation was easy. Great dining experience.

Beef Tenderloin grilled to order with a cold-water Lobster Tail broiled to perfection. Served with demi glace and lemon butter.
